Hi everyone,

Thank you to everyone who has supported me so far in my Fitness and Modelling career. I wanted to write an about me to share with you my successes and failures. I want to share the highs and lows of my journey, just as all of the people I coach and train have shared with me there's. I hope that I can inspire, motivate and help you achieve your health and fitness goals. 





Why a Blog?

The reason I blog is to Inspire, Motivate and Educate Women about Health, Fitness, Nutrition and Happiness. My journey has brought me so much personally and professionally. I hope in sharing my journey I inspire you! 

Body Image, Insecurities and Frustration 
I wasn't always fitness CRAZY!


Growing up I had the same struggles and insecurities about my body image as every teenage girl ( of any woman really) . I tried dieting, not eating right, skipping meals,  over exercising (cardio) and constantly weighing myself - it wasn't working. I'd had enough of doing things that just didn't work! Finally I decided to seek the help from a professional, I invested in a personal trainer at the local gym. I learn't how I could achieve my health and fitness goals, as well as the importance of healthy eating and a balanced exercise . 

"I began to love anything to do with exercise, it became fun for me and it quickly became part of my everyday routine"



I fell in love with nutrition and fitness so much I made the decision to study my Certificate 3 & 4 in fitness in 20......  and become a personal trainer. I want to inspire women to show them and coach them on a healthy lifestyle that will help th reach their goals and be the best they can be.
My Journey to becoming Personal Trainer
Out of my comfort zone 

At the begginging of my fitness career I did a shoot for Zoo magazine. I was just starting out with my modelling career as well, so I was very nervous and wanted to be confident with my body and look my best for the shoot. I set goals, I worked hard and when it was time for the shoot, I was confident and felt great. The most important thing for me was being healthy and portraying a healthy body image to other women.  I feel as though I have achieved so much in my career and welcome new challenges, I  want to continue to grow as a trainer and  improve my skills and abilities as well to take myself and my clients to new levels . In 2013 I was named International Kickboxer Girl of the Month in the Nov/Dec 2013 issue of International Kickboxer magazine. This was such an honour for me and I have to pinch myself sometimes and realize this is all real. It's taken a lot of hard work and dedication to achieve my goals and some injuries along the way.(?) ...........
but I am loving the journey and can't wait to see what's next.

My modelling career actually came after I achieved my fitness goals. I really wanted to be a healthy example to young women everywhere and help show them, you can be fit and healthy and still be successful in the modelling industry. I was actually interviewed by HealtHaven about my Modelling and being featured in the 2013 Wet N Wild Calender.

"Its such a shame that many girls who pursue modelling fall into very unhealthy eating habits just to try and look good enough for the industry. Too many times girls are just uneducated on nutrition and believe that under-nourishing their bodies will lead to weight loss and help them achieve the body that they desire. I really hope that combining my love for modelling and fitness that I can educate these women and be a positive and healthy role model for them."
